Get excited, thrifty Minneapolitans. U of M alumnus Genya Akselrod plans to open a new thrift store on Como Avenue next month, the Minnesota Daily reports. The store, called “Thriftees,” is designed with student affordability in mind, with Akselrod pledging to keep each item under 20 bucks.

Thriftees will replace another vintage store at the same location, Mix Fits, which went out of business several months ago.
