Rest easy Bizarre Foodies, The Travel Channel announced yesterday that Andrew Zimmern’s Bizarre Foods America will be renewed for another season.

Zimmern, a two-time James Beard Award Winner, will be leaving his home of Minnesota to sample the strangest foods that Pittsburgh, Atlantic City, and Cleveland have to offer.

What began as Bizarre Foods has now become Bizarre Foods America. After six seasons of traveling the globe, the show changed its name to focus on the weird eats available in the good ole’ US of A, proving that you don’t need a passport to try things like cricket and meal donuts.

While we love to hear about Zimmern’s favorite restaurants here in the TC, we think we’ll leave the bugs and organs food tasting to him.
