If you haven’t been to one of the Twin Cities’ most popular restaurants yet, here’s another reason to make a reservation: the bourbon runs like water. Butcher & The Boar was named the top seller of Knob Creek single barrel bourbon in the world earlier this week. The restaurant’s owners say they’ve sold 1,984 bottles of the 9-year-old bourbon. The MGM Grand in Las Vegas is its closest competitor.

Butcher & The Boar is no stranger to success; it was a 2013 James Beard award semifinalist for Best New Restaurant, and chef Jack Riebel was also a James Beard award semifinalist for Best Midwest Chef.
