The Friends of the St. Paul Public Libraries and The Advocates for Human Rights are back for their twelfth season of screening films that cover a broad range of human rights, and tonight they’re showing The Hunting Ground, an exposé of the rape culture on college campuses, an epidemic that’s rarely covered by the media and very unfortunately also sometimes covered up by academic institutions. The intense, but important, film premiered at this year’s Sundance, and has since been a catalyst for some legislation on campus safety; It also features a track recorded by Lady Gaga especially for the movie. 6:30 PM.
