The directors of Class of 1999 II: The Substitute really missed an opportunity, in our opinion, to name their crappy movie The SubsTWOtute, but that’s not the only thing gone wrong in the totally unnecessary and amazing “film” shown by Trash Film Debauchery. Starring the wildly under-appreciated Sasha Mitchell (of Step by Step fame and the also unnecessary but amazing Kickboxer sequels) as a substitute teacher cleaning up a school in chaos, the film perfectly pairs total earnestness with totally failed execution, putting it squarely in TFD’s wheelhouse. Stick around after SubsTWOtute for even more cinematic malpractice (and incredible programs) from All Star Video, a series that showcases the crazy DIY films of yesteryear. 7 PM, 8:45 PM. $5 per screening. —Kush Stanski
