Like we said last week: We absolutely love that the new, spacious, smart Moon Palace Books in Longfellow is also occasionally turning into a pop-up punk venue and, on Friday night, after the very unfortunate closing of Cafe Southside and a show re-location, an electro-soul and hip-hop hot spot. The night’s huge lineup includes beatmaker and lyricist Sammus and digital chill singer-songwriter Yaya Bey (who just had a track drop on Pitchfork!) for the first stop of their tour, plus the big adds of GRRRL PRTYier and radio host Sophia Eris, soul singer K.Raydio, and Chris of noise rap pioneers Moodie Black. Get there close to doors open as possible, this one is going to fill up for sure. Friday, 8 PM. $7 advance, $10 door.Paul Cajun
