The original collection of Titanic artifacts was exhibited at Union Depot and was well worth the line-waiting to view. An "expanded and enhanced" artifacts collection will be on view next year beginning in June at the Science Museum. What would Jack do?

I saw this in Omaha and it was awesome. I also bought some coal that was in the Titanic that I lost in the evacuation of New Orleans. I'm a go buy some more. I miss my Titanic coal.
I've just realized that my preceding comment was one of the many that only I am capable of uttering.

So, do they have the clothes that Kate Winslet wore in the movie? Or maybe the gun that Billy Zane used? History is awesome.
We were still living in Lowertown at the time of the original exhibit and were present when the Titanic horn was sounded for the first time since 1912. Looks like there will be many newly-retrieved items on display for this new exhibit.
They have some actual money that was miraculously dredged from the bottom of the ocean. It was somehow preserved in a wallet. I remember being surprised by how ridiculously big money used to be.
I saw an ad in a magazine last week for watches made from parts of the Titanic. They were pretty cool looking, but I don't know if I would spend $10,000 on a watch made from an epic failure. But maybe that's just me.
I saw it at the Union Depot too. It was pretty cool. I do think a few Jack and Rose inspired YouTube montages should be incorporated into the exhibit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yp1dEXVe7P0

PS: The 1953 movie was much better. I own it on DVD.

That's because almost everything made by James Cameron sucks hard.
I want some Titanic coal.
