Dude Weather Subscribe to Secrets Minneapolis / St. Paul
In what amounts to another (and perhaps the most important) first for MNSpeak, Amber and I are staging a pseudo MNSpeak pub/bar crawl this Saturday (10/28) -- open to all who are willing to join our crew of stumbling drunkards wandering from bar to bar in search of delicious beer and inspired Halloween costumes. We'll be starting at 9:30 in the hallowed confines of Psycho Suzi's, and moving on to Tony Jaro's, Stasiu's, NE Palace, and perhaps Mayslack's or the Double Deuce, depending on how ambitious the crowd is. It's your chance to meet MNSpeak legends, or at least point and laugh at them.
I hope you are ready for the chaos you have inveigled with this post.
That's right, I said inveigled. The chaos has already begun.
We are ready, Max.
As is quoted in one of Rich's favoritest movies...
Bring It.
I'm out, as I am solo-parenting this weekend (which, I believe, is in direct violation of the drunken pre-nup that I signed) But it sure sounds like fun...I haven't done a NE Pub Crawl since before the Polish Palace gentrimorphed into The Sample Room.
It'salready been broughten.
Max drank so much mulled wine that his mustache fell out the next day, and he had matching Sailor Martin tattoos.
Don't dis the Sample Room to much. They still steam their shrimp in Grain Belt.
Is there a tentative schedule?
for those of us who will not start out, but perhaps be in some of the same places, who should we look for to identify the MNspeak group?
Are you all going to have your laptops with?
Will Max bring Sailor Martin? That's the key question.
Should everyone just dress in varietaions of derusha? (i.e. we could have tall derushas, slutty derushas, derusha derushas etc.)

Watch for the Bachman lapel pins.
it's too cold out to be biking much so count me out. I barely ever cross the RR tracks anyway.
We're going to try to stick to about an hour time frame at each bar. The order of bars that we're going to are the same order in which Rich mentioned them, I think, so if you want to meet up with us, follow that plan of attack.
And you will know us by the paint on our faces, the wigs on our heads, the cheap polyester on our bodies, and the trail of our Grain Belt and Summit beer bottles.
And if that fails, you can always yell "Amber" or "Rich" into the crowd and we'll come find you.
And then kill you.
Lame, tmayhem.
Lame.

You guys all sell cars?
I figured there was a commonality . . .
.
Damn. Wish I could do this, but I'll be parenting.
Someone please take pictures and post them so that I may live vicariously through people I don't even know on my computer-machine.
Okay, so how'd it go? Where's the pics?
I'm waiting for rich to post the mysterious ass photo.
