Rasmussen Polls Out

Amy Klobuchar leads Mark Kennedy 50%-38% in a new Rasmussen poll. The results back up the much criticized results of a month-old Star Tribune poll (the strib link is broken, of course). Meanwhile, Gov. Pawlenty's numbers are rebounding. The poll says he now leads Mike Hatch 46%-36%, with Peter Hutchinson at 6%.

When is the independence party going to get moving?

But Pawlenty's going to lose in the primary, so the question is moot!

Uh Oh, Mark. The prozac commericals are not helping your re-election campaign. Time to page Joe Lieberman and Kathreen Harris for political life support. HA HA!

"Backs it up" only in the sense that it shows Klobuchar leading. I didn't hear a lot of people dispute that. The problem many had with the Minnesota Poll was that the margin was clearly off the mark (NPI). This backs poll backs up that belief, as the margin is significantly different and probably more realistic. If you're still not sure, ask yourself this, "What has Mark Kennedy done in the last month that would have shot his numbers up by 7 percent, a pretty big amount?"

Ya.

A bunch of sleazy attacks on whether the Hennepin Accounty attorney is a "prosecutor"?

"What has Mark Kennedy done in the last month...?"

Well, how about running his first campaign ad? Which, though I am as far from a Kennedy supporter as you can get, is actually a fantastic ad. 7 point bump in a poll with probably a +-3 or 4 margin of error? Gee, that's crazy! Must be a conspiracy.

Holy cats did I misspell "Hennepin County Attorney." Must be the sour mash.

I hope Hatch has some dirt of Pawlenty (he's always looked like a child rapist to me) that he can pull out at the last minute or this state is gonna remain in the shitter for 6 more years.

Raindog,

Guvs serve 4 years. US Senators serve 6 years. Minnesota went from 2 year terms to 4 year terms for governors after Elmer L. Andersen served in the 1960s.

"He's always looked like a child rapist to me"????????

Now that is elevated discourse.

Thanks for the civics lesson...it just SEEMS like 6 years and I am pawlenty tired of this suburban, redneck, weenie gov (Jesse-Lite) we have had for the past 7-8 years.

And I don't see how anyone could have a problem with my assertion that PAWLENTY looks like a "CHILD RAPIST" to me. I'm not saying PAWLENTY IS A CHILD RAPIST I am just saying he looks like a CHILD RAPIST.

See the difference? Slander free!

20 years of KKKarl Rove has taught me all about tolerance.

Screw Pawlenty. And Hatch doesn't stand a chance. Time for a reality check. Vote Sue Jeffers on Sept. 12 in the GOP primary. That way, Pawlenty won't even make it on the November ballot!! Sue's gonna whooop him and keep her promises.
