Last time Ze was in town was for last year's FlashBelt. I got to hang out with him at Lee Liquor Lounge afterward. He was hilarious. (BTW, this year's Flashbelt is this week.)

I know that there are a lot of white people here compared to many other places, but I always forget to note the blonde factor. Are there really a noticable amount of blondes? Natural or faux or both?

Yes.

East Coast transplants I know always say things like "I'm so glad to see brunettes again" when they go back home. Of course that's an exageration, but there's certainly more blondes per capita in Minnesota.

Great link! I'll be blogging Ze's presentation at PUSH today (and the rest of the conference) at the Walker's Off Center blog. I've strongarmed Leif Utne to throw in a guest post about PUSH too. Drop by...

So far the Walker Blog's coverage of PUSH has been really, really interesting.

Thanks! My first shot at liveblogging. (It's damn hard. Listening while typing.)

It's at least half in the delivery, but this deserves some kind of immortality:

"Every time I go to Target I'm reminded of how much more I have to buy to complete my collection of everything in the world."

I'll go to Target for one or two inexpensive things and end up spending like 80 bucks on all kinds of stuff that I "need."

The follow-up episode from Minneapolis was even better.
