And not in a dirty way. Our own Andrea Myers has the cover story of the current edition of Pulse. It's a profile on Mason Jennings. Andrea writes: "The album shows an interesting dichotomy between old and new Mason styles, and the dual nature is intentional." Mason's album is out next Tuesday, May 16.
I'm just glad to hear that somebody reads Pulse.
I don't really read it, I just look at the pictures.
Now if only Andrea would come back to us. We miss her so.
What was up with that Mason Jennings song where he was singing about how the Black Panthers were "fighting violence with nonviolence"? Does MJ have an odd understanding of history, a very high threshold for violence, or was that some sort of affirmation?
Anyone here read the Ram Dass "Be Here Now"?
It's what inspired that song for him.
I've had the album for a month or so, and it's a very religious/spiritual record. Well, maybe its more accurate to say that its an introspective record with religous/spiritual themes.
Dunno about the Panthers.
