I'm moving from this place. Thank goodness. The people who think Boise is friendly are from places like NY and LA. I've lived all over, and this place is NOT friendly. Even when relatives visited they commented how they were treated like crap by the people here. I was ashamed. It is also very conservative, meaning it's hard as a woman to get medical care and other services without being told "ask you husband" or "women are just anxious and make things up." It's also a state of gun-toting redneck retards. They police kill any animal that moves (elk, deer, etc) like they were a real threat to their safety. Serious nut jobs. Job market is also always poor if your not an engineer type. I would recommend it only if you plan to be an entreprenuer and right-wing, hateful male chauvists don't bother you.
Dude. Whoever called Boise white trash redneck town has never been to Oregon (other than Portland and Eugene). Boise is a clean paradise compared to places like Salem, Albany, Methford (uhh Medford).
Sure Idaho is quirky and weird but Boise looks like a plastic little fake city. If you want white trash, try Oregon.
By the way . Preston is over 300 miles from Boise and is only a few miles north of the utah border. Its your typical mormontown
Boise is full of delicious gay boys. I love it here. Love it! Miss being at hp for all the gay guys in short miss-matched clothes so I can give fashion tips while checking out asses. Boys of Boise...love it. Pot is terrible or over priced. Lots of right wingers and god-dammed mormons. They love it gay but don't admit it.
