MNSpeak: Talk

This is for everyone in Sota!

Kevin Garnett wasn't making much sense after the Celtics bested the Lakers in game 6 of the NBA finals ("You ever go to school and you have that bully mess with you every day?") He did manage a shout-out to Minnesota, though, and a compliment ("Michelle ,you look good tonight, girl.")

The shout-out link is to YouTube, and I'm not sure that it can be transcribed.

I guess this makes McHale a genius. He traded KG to Boston so we in 'Sota could finally get our ring.

@KG - Screw you.

And, according to Jason's Station, he also got a Wheaties box. I'm sure it was a "we don't hate the player, just the game" gift from General Mills.

As much as hockey fans like to rip on Bettman, he still hands Lord Stanley's Cup to the captain of the team that won it. Leave the guys with suits in their luxury boxes, the trophy should belong to the players.

On the actual topic, I'm happy for Garnett. After however many years of futility in Minnesota he deserves success wherever he needs to go to get it.

That's as close to a NBA championship ring that us Sota Jerks are likely to see, JACC.

Don't blame the messenger, dude.

No shout out to Oliver and his mom? KG has lost touch with his Minnesota roots. Sad really.
