MNSpeak: Talk

In today's Tay Zonday news

The video for Weezer's "Pork and Beans" is a surprisingly entertaining compilation of dozens of internet memes from the past few years. A certain local singer joins in the music, and the leans away from the mic to breathe. (the songs lyrics.)

Taking Warhol one step further, the internet gives people a 15 minute half-life of fame. They get some residual rippling fame effects which slowly taper off to mere google searchability nostalgia.

That was an awesome video.

The only reference I didn't get was the larger man who was just sitting and singing at the computer. I must have missed that one.

I don't know their music that well, but they have at least three awesome videos... Islands in the Sun (the version with the animals), Buddy Holly (Happy Days), and this one,
