Funny thing about the Jana Sterbak mention: Walker Performing Arts employs the first model of Sterbak's "meat dress" (a version of which is in the walker's collection.)

The Walker 2007-08 Performing Arts schedule has Claude Wampler/ PERFORMACE (career ender) for Jan. 24-26.
Based on a review of the show in The Brooklyn Rail and the poster on the Walker blog, my guess would be that they are auditioning for "audience plants".
