Par has a blog

Or, at least, someone claiming to be Par has a blog, and it's hilarious.

I had tickets to yesterday's Prince concert at Macy's. But I had to skip it. Some friends and I had a late dinner planned by the pool with some friends. And it's a good thing I skipped it. Prince didn't start on time, played more songs than he was supposed to, and the show went late. What kind of respect is that for people who paid top dollar for those tickets?

ROFL ROFL

Best new blog.

That is completely NOT his blog. There's no way.

But to whomever is writing this, you have a direct line on a job. Call me. (Hand signal earpiece-to-ear motion...)

Priceless...

Watch out, MNspeakers, he doesn't like you.

Oh, how much do I wish that was his blog.

Of course if it was in fact his blog that would be the most beautiful thing of all time. More perfect that Gary Hart and Donna Rice.

I didn't see him myself, but I heard Par was actually at the Macy's Prince show.

This is fantastic. In the heading it says:

After leaving the Saint Paul Pioneer Press, Par Ridder recently became the publisher of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. There's been some controversy with his changing roles, and he'd like to let people know his side of the story. Also, this blog is a parody. It's not the thoughts and opinions of the real Par Ridder.

And what's with Rex saying "he doesn't like you"? You may no longer be in MN, but you're still a MNSpeaker.

I'll get everyone's 1st round if Par shows to the next MNSpeak get together. I wanna see him and Kevin Hoffman can make a Matt Bartel sandwich.

I don't know this Koffman person, but I've heard of these Bartel's. They are a father and son duo, right? I really respect that.

Publishing a paper is hard. People just don't understand that.

Off topic and out of date, but this reminded me of the Harriet Miers blog when she was up for Supreme Court justice.

That's fine, if you're going to be at the top, you've got to deal with the spotlight. And people get jealous. I bet Kevin Garnett knows what I'm talking about.

I almost spit out my coffee. This is genius.
