So the Winter Carnival startes this weekend, and you know what that means: ice scuptures, an Ice Castle, the possibility of being molested by Vulcans, and, um, Darth Vader. Who is going and what do you most look forward to?

Blues fest planned for St. Paul Winter Carnival
From the Strib: Seven acts will perform on two stages. The main stage will feature Chicago bluesman Maurice John Vaughn, saxophonist Eddie Shaw and Twin Cities harmonica player Big George Jackson.
The Winter Carnival’s Klondike Kates, who are promoting their new CD, also will perform on the main stage. Spider John Koerner and Nikki and The RueMates are among performers on the acoustic stage.
