Kara Hendershot is a painter currently living in St. Paul. She’s a prominent part of the arts community and stays involved by exhibiting her work as well as promoting other local artists and art events in the Twin Cities. Lately, she has taken on a couple different collaboration projects with other local artists, where different ideas and styles can be developed and intertwined. Kara has also recently created a humorous and playful new series that is published into t-shirts and hand-made magnets.
It’s true: if you live in the Twin Cities, you’re likely see some work by Adam Turman in the course of your day. He’s been creating screen prints for everybody and anybody since 2003, including illustrations and posters for many of the Twin Cities’ finest establishments and organizations.
Educators as well as accomplished artists, David Rich and Paulette Myers-Rich have been integral to the growth of local art community. David has extensive experience teaching having taught at several schools, including Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Hartford Art School, University of Minnesota, University of Wisconsin, and others. Paulette has also taught at various universities, including Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and she has also worked with the Minnesota Center for Book Arts doing letter press work. The duo reside in their beautiful home/studio in St. Paul.

Being an artist is a family legacy for Allen Brewer; he continues to carry the torch with his multi-faceted gallery work and illustration clients that include: Target, United Airlines, and Smithsonian. Pamela Valfer has an extensive resume in the arts including many exhibitions and lectures. Together the couple shares a studio in St. Paul and they’re currently preparing for a 4-month trip to Ireland for Pamela to teach a semester for MCAD abroad.

Zachary Keenan and Caitlin Longley Keenan make up a dynamic art duo. On the one hand, Zach has a variety of projects from hand drawn typography to landscape kits, teaches, and runs DesignWorks at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. On the other, former MCAD staff photographer Caitlin keeps busy with her photography work and freelancing.
