Amber Jensen has had some amazing experiences in her life all that have made her into the talented artist she is today. From sewing to illustration and the book arts, her aesthetic shines through in all the mediums she gets her hands on.  Amber also received the Jerome mentorship and grant from the Minnesota Center for Book Arts in 2008.

Secrets Slideshow: Studio Visit with Abbey Kleinert

Abbey Kleinert has been a busy girl — she just wrapped up her show at Altered Aesthetics , she’s the artist in residence at Articulture, and is launching her multidisciplinary print shop co-op called Recess Press .  The co-op is aimed at creating studio access for young and emerging artists and will be having an unofficial launch Saturday April 30th at 9 pm in the Midway Commercial Building near University and Hwy 280.

Secrets Studio Visit with Tim & Thom Navarro – Voltage Edition

Despite working on fashion, twin Brothers Tim and Thom Navarro only just recently opened an adorable boutique/studio on Lyndale called YOU and ME. Their colleague, jewelry designer Katy Schmaty, also provides products — and some great insight — into the overall collection. The brothers Navarro will be featured at this year’s Voltage.

Sunday Slideshow: Studio Visit with Terrence Payne

Terrence Payne has lived and worked in the Minneapolis area since the mid 1990’s, building a body of unique work while exhibiting at museum, galleries and universities throughout the United States. His work can be found in private, corporate and collegiate collections throughout the world. Terrence also founded the artist collective Rosalux.
