Our own Erica has posted a discovery over at fresh.mn: Something called the Shopping Center Tribute Awards for Retail Real Estate, which is, in essence, the “Oscars or Grammies” for local malls. Among this year’s winners: A new Supertarget and the Prairieview Center in Eden Prairie. It’s a long time since the glory days of Southdale. If you had to give awards to local malls, what awards would you give, and what mall would get it?

Yeah! Prices are falling! There are so many good deals out there. Gas is cheap, groceries are cheap. Oh wait, that’s a bad thing? Sure, down the road it means we’ll probably all lose our jobs and won’t be able to pay back our loans with more expensive dollars, but we can buy cheap stuff!  Where are the best places in town to find a deal?
