Love, Charlie: A Photoblog About a Photogenic Dog

Metafilter points out the now defunct but still enjoyable Love, Charlie photoblog. Charlie is an Italian Greyhound from rural Minnesota, and he seems like a sweetheart. Charlie can still be found on the interwebs at Flickr.
I have a dog and a cat. For some reason people that is odd.

Google is now hosting LIFE magazine’s image archive. I give you Minnesota as seen through LIFE’s photographers over the years:
- General Electric uniforms from 1918
- A tiny burn victim from 1940
- A Conscientious Objector participates in a semi-stavation program at the U of M in 1945
- Scandinavian royalty in Minnesota in 1958
