As we enter a new year (and perhaps a new decade, though that’s debatable), it’s only natural to look to the future. What will this year bring? What will this decade bring? What do we need to do to ensure our survival—whatever this might mean to us on the most basic level?

Early morning aubergine blogger Madison Rae is only 15, but she often espouses great wisdom in its purest form. In a simple little post she shares what 2010 means to her.

We will be in a new decade.
No more of those goofy little New Years glasses.
In five, ten years, we will know what defined our generation.
Two more years until the apocalypse?
Two more years until I graduate. Sort of.
*shrug*
