Last week, we discussed the job situation in Minnesota and across the country. Yesterday, we covered GenXers dissatisfaction in the workplace, and many of you asked why GenYers (and perhaps even younger folks) don’t suffer from that same disappointment. And today the Strib tells us that “enrollment in bachelor’s degree programs in agriculture across the country grew by 21.8 percent from 2005 to 2008.” Why? Is it a belief in (or hope for) something simpler? A green thing? Or perhaps a belief in the farmers assistance programs?
