If you’re at work and having trouble connecting to Startribune.com, your web administrator may have blocked access due to a malware outbreak Sunday.
“Malware (short for malicious software) is software designed to infiltrate and infect computers.”
According to Strib Digital Media Executive Director Jason Erdahl, a “remnant ad” contained the malicious software. While the ad was pulled as soon as the virus was discovered, problems were still being reported yesterday.
