Imagine what it would be like to be a contestant on Jeopardy. Seeing your name lit up in front of your podium, the feeling of the buzzer under your hand, and seeing Alex Trebek in the flesh. For a couple of Minn. teens, the dream of many has become a reality.

According to Minnetonka Patch, high school students Lila Anderson and Joe Vertnik were among 15 students from across the country that competed in the Teen Tournament segments of America’s favorite quiz show. The two teens engaged in the intense academic showdown with their eyes on $75,000 grand prize and the title of Teen Jeopardy champion. The segments start airing tomorrow and will run through mid-February. Here’s to hoping either of the locals wins Final Jeopardy and takes home the title of trivia master.
