The Brick, a new Minneapolis music venue (which charges quite the convenience fees for purchasing tickets online), had a rough opening night Monday. It was so bad that the club is offering refunds to everyone who purchased tickets to its Jane’s Addiction concert, reports the Star Tribune. So what happened, exactly? The band itself played well, but the place was overcrowded. Patrons found it nearly impossible to get a drink, maneuver to the bathroom, or find a good view of the band. Concert-goers vented on Facebook and Twitter, and someone even created The Brick issued an apology, but who knows if it will be enough to save its image.
