New Flight Rerouting Has Residents Confused

On Monday the Metropolitan Airports Commission voted for a new plan to reroute airplane takeoffs from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport. This means homeowners may face noise pollution they never expected to have to deal with—like 122 large aircrafts departing from a concentrated area each day. Some residents of Minneapolis and Edina have never been briefed on the changes. Now council members are asking to be better informed about which neighborhoods will impacted.
