In the last few months we’ve seen lots of news about BBY. Geek Squad founder Robert Stephens left Best Buy in early March, then just two weeks ago, the big-box retailer announced it would be closing the doors of 50 of its U.S. stores, and this morning the Associated Press reported Best Buy CEO Brian Dunn has decided to box up his office. Best Buy reports the decision is mutual; there were no disagreements that preempted the separation. A board member is serving as interim CEO while a search committee looks for a new head of state.
