Well hello there, Monday. Here’s a good story to kick off the workweek: Our own Kenwood in Minneapolis was named one of the top 10 neighborhoods in the country by the American Planning Association.

The APA described the Calhoun-Isles community as “reminiscent of a sleepy rural hamlet but with decidedly more urban architecture and scenic vistas.” Kenwood Park and the neighborhood’s efforts to preserve its history were cited as winning reasons, but we know deep down The Mary Tyler Moore Show house was the real clincher.

Other neighborhoods that made the cut: Downtown Decatur, Georgia; Williamson Marquette in Madison, Wisconsin; and San Francisco’s Chinatown. Check out the full list here.
