Last week, 13 players from the Maple Grove High School boys hockey team were suspended for a mysterious crime. School officials have pleaded the fifth, remaining silent while the case goes under investigation. However, secrets of such great impact are hard to keep: it’s been hypothesized that the suspension was the result of a sex tape.
Many of the hockey players returned to the ice yesterday after missing two games. Head hockey coach Gary Stefano has received his fair share of criticism, some saying that after 17 years of his reign as head coach, it’s time for new leadership. On his part, Stefano told STrib that the crime was, “by far my worst experience” in his 32 years of coaching.
