We like what F. Stokes, who is headlining the Fine Line Music CafĂ© tonight, brings to the table. Coming off like a long-lost member of Antipop Consortium, Stokes’ style has plenty of wit, soul, humility, inspiration, and inclusiveness. Plus, dude has a collaborative past with Doomtree’s Lazerbeak (and P.O.S.), who produced his 2009 LP Death of a Handsome Bride. So we’re more than happy to aid Stokes in his quest to become the next Greyson Chance. No, not physically (though that would make for one hell of an interesting procedure). Stokes has a campaign going to perform his uplifting song “My Simple” (video above) on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. So if you like what you see, go help Stokes’ journey to Ellen become a little bit more simple. Let’s face it, you could use a break from Beliebing anyway, because HE obviously doesn’t need any more help or support.
