While the City of Minneapolis unanimously approved a plan to legalize commercial agriculture last year, the specific regulations surrounding the plan are TBD. Currently, urban farmers can eat their produce and give it away, but can’t sell it for profit.

MPR reports: Those against the change say this farming could become an eyesore, bringing traffic, dust, and “unwelcome odors.” Council members must toe the line; one fears over regulation may limit the success of the urban farm.
