St. Paul is definitely known for being “green” each March as it celebrates its Irish heritage. Mayor Chris Coleman hopes the city will be known for its energy-efficient ways year round. Last week he unveiled the first city-owned, solar-powered electric car charging stations in Minnesota, which are located in Como Park. The Pi Press took the opportunity to see exactly how the city’s “green” efforts stack up.
