New Age pianist and performer Lorie Line is facing foreclosure on her Mediterranean-style mansion on Lake Minnetonka. The custom 9,100-square-foot home in Orono was built by Lorie and her husband Tim in 1996 but now may end up at the sheriff’s sale, as the couple owes more than $2 million on it.
While the couple listed the home for sale last month for nearly $4 million its assessed value is just under $2.9 million. The four-bedroom house includes a columned stage for Line’s grand piano, an expansive wine cellar, an outdoor kitchen, and a third-floor cupola.
Line told the STrib that she and Tim have begun to look for a smaller home now that their two children are grown. Line also begins her Immanuel Holiday Concert tour tomorrow in Indianapolis, which includes three shows at the Historic State Theater in Minneapolis.
