Anyone who thinks golf is just a good walk spoiled, hasn’t met Craig Teiken. Host of The Craig Show, Teiken offers his vast expertise in a casual, approachable web video series of episodes. As fanatic as he is about golf, he’s less than crazed about the gear and technique mania that has swept the game away from what he sees as its roots in a social, community setting. Starting April 21, Teiken will also be hosting, along with Alisa Harron, 1500 ESPN’s Minnesota Golf Show on Saturdays 9 to 10 a.m.

This comes as great news to both fans of Teiken and the sport. And there are quite a few of both: Minnesota has more golfers per capita than any other state. It’s home to more than 500 courses. Teiken’s show will feature both the players and courses that call Minnesota home, as well as tutorials and equipment reviews. Already well over 700,000, the number of Minnesota golfers will undoubtedly rise with Teiken serving as golf’s dedicated, fun-loving diplomat.
