Bread & Pickle’s Kim Bartmann Hopes for Liquor on Lake Harriet

If there’s one thing we love more than our lakes, it’s booze. Perhaps it’s time we’re permitted the freedom to combine the two—or at least, that’s the hope of Kim Bartmann, owner of Bread & Pickle at Lake Harriet. She’s looking to persuade the City of Minneapolis to allow her to sell beer and wine at her Lake Harriet concession spot, as has been the case with a couple other lakeside restaurants in Minneapolis Parks.

If the Minneapolis Park Board OKs her proposal tonight, it’ll still need final approval from City Hall.
