Need a last-minute professional DJ for your corporate event or large party? Hosting a get-together and trying to track down some music? Here’s our suggestions:

Shannon Blowtorch is an award winning DJ that can rock any sort of party. She’s a DJ who’s been named by the local publications City Pages and Star Tribune as being the Best Club DJ multiple years in a row, as well as making the Suntimes top 100 DJs. She’s been featured in Curve magazine, and 100 woman we love in Go Magazine a few occasions. Currently she has a weekly Saturday night show (at midnight) on MPR’s 89.3 The Current. Blowtorch was the DJ for GRRRL PRTY and has opened for many international acts such as: Salt N Peppa, Madonna, Juicy J, Steve Aoki, Big Freedia, & Peaches to name a few. Also, playing at Prince’s Paisley Park many times and the house DJ for the X Games 2017, is now curating the infamous Dre Day celebration.

DJ Jonathan Ackerman regularly programs parties in MPLS + STPL a minimum of 3-4 times a week. Along with his regular dance nights like House Party 97, 2000s, Hotel, Top 40 nights and more, he’s DJ’d for a variety of corporate events for Target, Best Buy, Yelp, Red Bull, Proximo, Brown-Forman, Scion, Neiman Marcus, Teen Vogue, Pernod-Ricard, Northern Grade, Colombia. He also has performed at festivals such as Kraftskiva and restaurants like Marvel Bar and Red Stone. He can provide playlists and live DJ sets for a variety of styles of music, including Top 40, Indie, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, EDM and more.

Shannon and Jonathan also connect with a large network of dozens of event and party DJs in MPLS + STPL that includes men and women who can play to the crowd, are good on mic, and can do open format programming.
