The Twin Cities Pay Respects to Eyedea

News broke late Sunday afternoon that well respected and hip hop artist Micheal Larsen, aka Eyedea of Eyedea and Abilities, passed away.¬† Larsen’s mother posted a note on Facebook with the news and has also set up a place to donate to cost of Larsen’s services.

There will surely be fond remembrances throughout the week, Eyedea was an important element of the local music scene.¬† Check him out in the documentary “Exposing Headshots: Hip Hop Below Zero” and this recent interview.

    So incredibly stunned by this. His freestyle skills were unmatched, so much talent. It was an honor to have listened to his work and seen him live. RIP Eyedea.
