Scary cherry.

Lots of MNSpeakers seem to loathe that Miracle Gro marvel in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, Spoonbridge & Cherry. But if you’ve been to the garden lately you’ll notice it’s not looking so hot. Garish red has been transformed to a dull putty tone, the pond has been drained, and a fence has gone up. Every five years the thing gets refinished, but this year they’re gouging out the rust spots, scraping the paint, and re-bondoing the whole shebang. Check out these (kinda shocking) photos.
