George Mikan Dies

Considered to be the first NBA superstar, Hall-of-Famer Minneapolis Laker George Mikan (and creator of the Mikan Drill) passed away at age 80. You can pay tribute to him by shooing away pigeons that try to land on the statue dedicated to him standing outside of Target Center.
