And what Cristina is leaving out, is that she was nominated too, but didn’t send them the info they asked for!

Also, I think they forgot one of my chins in that overly-flattering illustration.

I guess I’m no SM Titan. I can live with that. ;-)

Judi may still be still mad at me for questioning (via Twitter) why she hosted a fundraiser for T. Clark in the 3rd District instead of the 6th, my district, and the region Clark (and M. Reed) want to represent.

@justpbob Anyone that thinks you’re not an SM Titan hasn’t been chained up and spanked silly in your SM dungeon.

hard to believe Ed, Aaron and Taylor don’t make that list.

f*ck not too mention chuck and a lot of other people.

That list seems a little heavy on the corporate/business side though I guess.

Well, allrightie then.

I know part of the idea was to get more women on the list — there have been many lists with a lot of the same guys on it, says one of those guys who’s honored to be on many of these lists.

We don’t allow girls in the He-Man Social Media Treehouse.

So, Jason isn’t one of our own? My worldview just collapsed…

I agree that Ed, Aaron and Taylor should have been on the list! I do think that they did a good job of covering a broad spectrum of social media circles though. (Says one of the lucky to be included chicks on the list)

Did I get booted along with Max, DouglasG?

Also when will the term “Social Media” die. I keep asking for definitions and all I get are ones that basically boil down to communication + internet.

Something about fashion sense?

I think of social media as two-way interaction. You can be a killer blogger and never interact with the commenters. That’s not social media. You can push content out to promote on Twitter and Facebook. That’s not social.

Social media is engaging in a two-way manner via the internet.

oh…I call that communication.

That must not book breakfast meetings as well.

There’s a lot of people making a nice living in the field of strategic communication, so I do think that books breakfast meetings quite well.

I can’t help but think of the time Jim Rockford won an award for private detectives, only to have it taken away from him. Some of us work with very small businesses and will never have the glamour. That’s the way the world works.

To all the rest of ya who will never be one of the cool kids – if you meet me in a bar sometime, remind me to buy you a round. It’s all good. I know who some of you are, but the rest of you I’d love to meet!

Sounds hot.

Erik makes a great point. Although when you’re making Rockford Files references, you pretty much guarantee you’re not going to be on a “cool kid” list.

The thing I like about the lists (besides seeing my name on them — I kid! — not really. I love that.) is that there are always two or three people I hadn’t heard of before.

I find myself following what they’re doing, and I stumble into learning something new.

Hi guys, this is Judy from justjudyjudyjudy.com – the reason that \Ed, Aaron and Taylor\ didn’t make the list is because they were not nominated. I took nominations for a two week period from my website, Twitter, and Facebook. If you think they belong on the list nominate them next year, I’ll be doing this again in 2010.

Hi guys, this is…Hey, we only heard from two of the four judys!
