…and now for a little name-dropping from the Marsh Man…
Steve Marsh offers a first-hand account of ButterBall 2009. “Or is it Buettner Ball?” he asks, and later manages to throw in a dig at Buettner ex Cheryl Tiegs. Sure the ButterBall is a great party, but when you’re expecting Mariel Hemingway and you get Kevin Hoffman, you can be pretty sure it’s you the bell is tolling for. Or something like that. I’m just trying (in vain) to pull off some Marsh-like humor. Better to just read it. And be sure to check out the video, in which Steve refers to himself as the Wyatt Earp of mspmag.com’s party patrol, complains about the $10 surcharge on the cash machine, and whines about Dan Buettner not liking him. (Steve, STEVE!, we can’t hear you when you hold the mic away from your face.)

Not sure why it took so long, but they’ve finally got Marsh on the right beat. I can only imagine how much good juicy content has to be edited out of each piece. Talk about a love-hate relationship. His poor editors.
