Real Edina could not care less about Bloomington, Mtka, et al. Fake Edina or New Edina might care, but they should be disregarded as utterly as Real Edina disregards Bloomington, et al.

It would be useful to just be able to check Twitter for snow emergencies and whatnot. I’m all for more ways of communicating information.

Anoka County has been on Twitter for some time. In fact, it was one of the first counties in nation to Tweet, a fact the Strib article missed.

Actually, I like the idea. It’s definitely a better (and more accessible) idea for emergencies than these “code red” and reverse 911 systems that require being able to use a telephone.
