I do my best…

OK, I have no idea why the URL didn’t show up. http://www.flyover-land.com

I’d like to re-pimp mine. I had a couple of local entries (like my bit about Uncle Frankies, and the more recent one about Victory 44) that didn’t get aggregated.

Also, I made a submission about MnReads that never got posted.

Sorry Kurtis; overlooked it somehow. It has now been published. Also, I am not subscribed to your blog.

My friend Jahna’s blog, Le Petit Connaisseur de la Mode (I know, it’s a mouthful) posts a lot of local fashion content, reviews and previews of local a+e events.  Also, this new one is locally based but not local content driven, it’s all about “mini” things. So, just for fun: Miniopolis

My neighborhood has a blog where photos are posted from within the hood every day. http://www.powderhorn365.com
it is even favorited on my phone.

My blog ranges far and wide, but definitely has some TC content.

You would, Sleeper78! More like spy on people from the balcony.

1. The Periodic Table

Periodic submissions related to chemistry, education, research, academic life at BigU, and anything else of interest to Mr. Bonzo (aka the Whining Dinosaur). “Raise that tuition, dig that gravel, buy that Coke, push that credit card, sell that soul…”

UofM and local stuff – often

All the best deals, bargains, and money saving tips and tricks with an eye on the Twin Cities. Just last week alone I got $43 in groceries totally free – and that was just a so-so week! I also include local outings and rec activities when there are deals – like summer movies for free, buy one, get one theater passes, etc. And the more eyes the merrier – let me know if you spot any deals I should be talking about. http://www.pocketyourdollars.com

Almost exclusively Gopher basketball, with various other basketball thrown in. Most games take place in the twin cities, which I guess would qualify.

Mine hits on just about everything, but has occassional local content – hit the “local” tag in the tag cloud – http://www.strayhawkeye.com

I used to do the “We Have Mixed Feelings About Sven Sundgaard” blog. I’ve moved to “That’s how we do it in the TC.”

Sorry, forgot my football blog, mostly about the Vikings.

I’ll gladly whore myself out!

Relatively new, still trying to find some sort of focus. Definitely local, though.

Shameless Self Promotion: http://www.cakein15.com

A healthy mix of music, art and fashion coverage, with some theater to boot, mostly about local scenes. Plus, if I do say so myself, a pretty decent concert calendar.

Max, you may find some gems by subscribing to the Minneapolis tagged posts on Wordpress.com. Or other relevant local tags.

This may be possible to do for Blogspot blogs as well.

The folks over at Western Construction Inc. published their first blog post, and it is a doozy. Huge discounts for families of soldiers/armed forces personnel. The first post is a good indicator of more to come. http://www.westernconstructioninc.com/blog

Minnepop! It’s written by a few of us locals, and we cover everything from books to music to lakes to restaurants to that adorable belt-maker named Henry who lives up north. And if you want to see a bunch of pissed-off Jeremy Messersmith fans, check out the comments section on this one.

Oh, also Sidewalk Dog, where Twin Cities dog lovers get info on where to eat, play and shop with the objects of their obsessions. Some of us love our dogs just a little too much, and this is a wonderful enabler.

I’ve been known to feature local content on my blog, silentseas.wordpress.com

Dammit g-rote, I was hoping that site would stay more secret!

I love pimping my own stuff so check out MinnPics. Minnesota pictures (photos). Get it?

Well, it’s never been specifically mentioned in this context, so here is Borangutan. All sorts of stuff about the local rock ‘n roll scene, some free downloads, some bits about my garden thrown in, etc.

There’s usually always something new there to crank and piss off your already disgruntled co-worker in the next cubicle. ;)
