Remember that Guy Named Rex?

Following the “where are they now?” theme re: former MNSpeak Masters, here’s Max, playing guitar and singing with his girlfriend’s band. Warning: NSFW lyrics.

This has to be the most ignoble set of links ever gathered to chronicle a person’s life. Reap; sow; whatever.
The book is great, even though I’m in it. You should all come to our reading in Brooklyn tomorrow! If not, perhaps another Chambers party this summer?

“You should all come to our reading in Brooklyn tomorrow!”

You know none of us can get out of this backwater and make it to New York by tomorrow, so why do you taunt us?

Because this site is a constant taunt to me. ;)

I thought Brooklyn was sooooo, like, last year. What do Tootie and Muldoon have to say about it?

Someone talking about Tootie and Muldoon (???) is now saying something else is soooo. like last year???
You gotta stash of Ike Jokes you want to tell us, ‘Nood?

Ignoble, eh? I think it’s cute. :)

Brooklyn. How predictable. Whatever, I’m doing a reading on the new Governor’s Island whenever that opens.

@Rat: Eisenhower … AND Pogo!

It’s irony, Rat. Pure, grade-A irony.

Also, who the f are tootie and muldoon?

and Rex? Who the hell are these people?

@Bixby: Toody (my bad for wrong spelling before) and Muldoon were what we thought all cops were like growing up as kids.

I saw an episode of “Car 54″ and was surprised by the diversity it represented of the Brooklyn cops of the day (which may or may not have reflected reality). Surprising for a teevee show of its time, when everything was in black & white — literally.

@justpbob: Mostly white, at that. ;) I agree with you, though. Ossie Davis? Nipsy Russell? You didn’t see them on Father Knows Best or Leave It To Beaver.

My question remains unanswered.

Which one? You asked two questions. I provided a link that answered one of your questions.
