Blogfoot looks at two ads from local realtors, both of which are, er, sort of odd. What’s the strangest local ad you’ve seen?

I’ve noted some rather odd realtor ads in Lavander Magazine, including one were the realtor is pictured barefoot.

There was other showing the realtor (I guess it’s her) as a little girl holding a toy magic wand. She bills herself as “The Real Estate Fairy” who can “make your home dreams come true.”

Plus, there is a guy in the Columbia Heights area who sells homes named Ralph Rooney. He changed his name to “Mickey” so no one would ever forget it. It worked!

Not local, but related to Bob’s comment, this female realtor’s name makes me chuckle.

This one is my personal favorite that I saw on the inside of a shopping cart at Rainbow in Apple Valley.

I love the fact that Cotty advertises on the side of that drugstore full well knowing that his ad will be defaced.

I think he should make the ads even more appealing by leaving a blank space for people to “explore the space”

Still my favorite. Her first name is Elizabeth, which also appears on some signs.
