Alarm doesn’t just like the new P.O.S. album, they think he has saved hip hop. Perfect Porridge also seems impressed. I once spent a night on a party bus with the guy. I don’t remember it. It was the bachelor party for this guy, who has good things to say about P.O.S.’s debut album. If you’re reading this, P.O.S., do you have any memory of going to Little Tijuana’s that night?

Did hip hop need saving? I mean, it’s doing way better than I am. It’s got cash, chronic, champagne, guns, platinum grills, bitches, hos, Bentley’s and furs…and have you seen MTV Cribs!!!??? Seems like it’s doing quite well for itself, actually.

Did hip hop need saving?
It will, if it comes on to my lawn again.

Max,
almost no one remembers Little T’s that night…but maybe Steph does…
at any rate, I haven’t heard the album, but I’m sure it’s great. Hip-Hop may not need saving, but a solid record anywhere is always good

You were there? Sheesh, what did I drink?
Oh, that’s right. Everything.

This story just got a lot more fun, Apparently tou can now make your own P.O.S. cover art online. Maybe you always could, but the Vita.mn tweet pointed it out to me.

For the record, I believe Stef bounced out after Grumpy’s that night, so I think he wasn’t at Little T’s.
Then again, I thought I wasn’t at Little T’s that night for a long time until someone reminded me.
On topic, though: I just got a full-art promo for the disc and it really is awesome. The online cover art thing is a great idea, also, but the physical product is really a piece of work. Kudos to Eric Carlson for a great design that, honestly, if there’s any justice, should at least get a Grammy nomination for best packaging. I’m serious.
