Everyone I know in the nonprofit world (and for-profit, for that matter) is bracing for the worst. Large or small, just about every nonprofit is seeing greater needs and fewer dollars as the economic crisis grows. There have been some interesting campains to help local nonprofits. The United Way’s $5 campaign, for example. We at the American Lung Association of Minnesota are also felling the pinch.

Lest you think it is too self-serving, I won’t see a dime of the money raised by the stair climb — the funds go to research and asthma programs for inner city kids.
If you want to drop a dime on just plain for a worthy cause, my team is the “Clean Air Climbers.”
Will accept side bets on my survival, Also, I am willing to wear youy company logo on my warmup robe, ala “Rocky,” for any potential donors out there.
Like Rocky, I just want to “go the distance,” and live to tell the tale.
