I can’t imagine being charged for losing it as an intern in a newsroom will be a helpful career development for Ms. Anato-Mensah. I recommend she change her name, so when future employers google her, this episode does not come up.

Depends. If you’re looking for work on talk radio, physically attacking the liberal media is actual a prerequisite.

Congrats on the new username, by the way.

Wow…I wonder if this was a case of extreme entitlement syndrome or she’s got some underlying rage issues. Way to fuck up your career before it’s even started.

The last time I said, “You don’t know where I’m from. I’ll mess you up, bitch.”, my mom got really upset with me.

$100 says she’s from Edina or Minnetonka.

LOL

As always, the comments at the Pi Press are pricelessFirst off, who would be dumb enough to hire someone with a name as long as hers, that alone should have been a tip off that things aren’t right upstairs in her thinking department and it’s obvious all her gears aren’t working.

It is too bad there isn’t a regular MNSpeaker at KSTP that could give us the inside scoop. AhemJosieCoughCough. Yes, too bad…

I was wondering if the unnamed female producer was Josie.

I’ll drop her a private line today. I saw her dad the other day at an energy conference.

The producer was named: Danielle Prenevost. I’m assuming Josie would have calmly asked Anato-Mensah if she would like to “take it outside”, then proceeded to open a large can of whup ass.

Josie don’t take no fuss.

I don’t work in the newsroom, so alls I knows is what yous knows.

I’m not sure if I’m flattered or not by Secrets of MNspeak’s perception of my fuss-handling skills… :)

Were you at the thing at the RiverCentre on Tuesday, Bob?

Yes, I was, Josie. Some of the media types there was the Strib’s HJ Cummins, Dandy Don, and Mark Neuzil from MinnPost.

“This is a young girl who was not understanding concepts in a television newsroom,” said Danielle Prenevost, 33, executive producer of the station’s early evening newscasts. “I said, ‘I don’t think your level of college experience is enough for this job.’ “

Quite the understatement, as she didn’t understand the concept of, “If I act like a crazy person in the newsroom, it might be on the NEWS.”
