As you entered they told you what they were doing and handed you a tiny slip of paper with needs for the food shelves. As you left, you gave them the food. It worked really well for me. I picked up a bunch of things that, based on the list, I knew were needed. I just seperated those foods into their own bag when bagging my groceries. Then dropped the full bag off on the way out.
